This brings back memories of my bedroom @ Jan Way in the summer of 1983 with Kevin in his underwear, Tim’s 4 Track on a chair and Kevin and I playing together through a heavily reverb’d guitar amp to Mirror—the first track—most likely playing right now as you read this… whether you like it or not. Probably not.

This entire album is a complete downer with a small respite in Jeremiah which is my personal happy place. This album sets the stage for so much more pain and beauty to come. Inspired by Syd Barrett and the post Pet Sounds years of Brian Wilson. I wanted nothing to do with this but never mastered the skill of saying fuck-off to Tim.
